NDV is a publisher of parliamentary handbooks, biographies of politicians, and general politically-related information. For more than 60 years we've been providing reliable information on Germany's and other European parliaments - on their members, legal foundations, procedures, and on the various organisations and bodies comprised within them. Highly sensitive data is published in print exclusively by NDV, one example being the information on the ancillary professional activities of the Members of Parliament of the German Bundestag.

The flagship of our printed publications is the so-called "Kürschner". This well-known red and white striped guide to the German Bundestag is so popular and indispensable that it's become its own brand name. The Kürschner has long served as an exemplary model for other parliamentary guides as well. The "Handbuch der Bundesregierung" (Guide to the Federal Government) and many other titles in the areas of popular politics and political science all make up our wide range of print publications.

Expanding our programme was also made possible through working cooperations stretching beyond the German borders with Editon du Pouvoir in Paris.

In addition to our book publications, we've also developed kuerschner.info - a unique and modern tool for researching and communicating via the Internet. Professional users in the area of parliamentary-political information and communication are provided not only with immediate access to our editorial data bank, but they can also communicate directly with the members of the researched group. And all of the data retrieved can then be stored for further use in an external data bank.
